I’ve been house sitting and taking care of pets my whole life as I’ve always owned dogs, horses, and had other fun pets as well. But starting at 16 I traveled around my city to stay over night and care for beloved pets. At 18 years old, I graduated JTED as a certified veterinary assistant. I have worked at vet clinics throughout my life, large and small animals. I have cared for all ages of animals from puppies to senior dogs. I treat every pet I care for as if it were my own, I know the worry of being a pet owner away from their animals. I always want to make life as easy as I can for the pets and their owners.

Rylin has been an amazing house/pet sitter for us. She is conscientious, responsive, and compassionate. She really cares for the wellbeing of our animals, enabling us to enjoy our time away. Her vet tech certification plus her work experience (having worked for several veterinarians) give her additional insights concerning the administration of meds and to tend to the special needs of our older pets.
Rylin has been taking care of our 4 dogs, horses, chickens, desert tortoises, plants and house as needed for 8 years. She has great knowledge and care when it comes to all their health needs. I have one senior dog who is on numerous medications. Her veterinarian assistant education is an added bonus. I trust her with all our animals and house and recommend her to everyone looking for a reliable house/ animal sitter.
Rylin is an amazing pet sitter. I have two sweet girls who absolutely love it when she comes to stay. My oldest dog has all kinds of health issues and takes various medications. Rylin is adept at keeping track of all of the medications and ensuring she gets them at exactly the time she needs them. She is a dependable, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and responsible pet sitter. She treats our dogs with love and kindness and respects our home. We always come home to a house that is as clean as we left it with happy fur babies. I highly recommend Rylin to anyone who wants a quality caregiver.

At my home, I have a fenced yard to let the pets run around. I have 5 friendly dogs, including a senior pet I care for daily. At a clients or my own home, I always check water to make sure it is clean and available. I’m happy to take dogs in and out as much as they want to play, explore, or to use the bathroom. I try to make the environment I’m staying in as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for all pets in my care.

I would like to know of any medications the pet needs, if the pet is special needs, if the pet has dietary restrictions, if their are any special routines or requirements for pets, the pet’s likes or dislikes, if the pet has any particular behaviors I should know about, and anything the owner could see as relevant to the happiness and health of their pet.
A typical day
Well first I want to know what the pets owners are comfortable with. But I’m happy to play with them in a yard, play with toys, play indoors if needed, take them on walks, take them to the dog park if permitted. I’m happy to accommodate each pets needs depending on if they are higher or lower energy pet.

Availability
I’m currently taking a year after college to do internships and travel. This means I have plenty of time to be able to spend with clients’ pets and giving them the best care possible. I’m happy to stay with pets over night to care for them better, or traveling to see them throughout the day. I want to make sure clients are at ease knowing someone is caring for their pets as if they were their own.
