Pet care experience
Why should humans have all the fun? Our goal is to create a vacation-like experience for your pet while you’re away. They’ll get all the mental and physical stimulation they can handle in our lively home. With people around constantly, young kids to love on them, and other animals to play with, what could be better?? I always had pets in my family growing up and spent my teenage years working at a professional kennel when owners went out of town. The pay was terrible, but it was well worth it to get to play with all the cute animals! My experience there taught me a great deal about canine and feline temperaments and how to successfully introduce and intervene during social interactions. I want to recreate that experience but with the loving personal touch of our family home setting.

With plenty of square footage and multiple living spaces both inside and out, our house offers plenty of opportunities for your pets to explore and play. Our lengthy and spacious backyard is surrounded by a 6 foot concrete wall and is the perfect size for dogs to get their exercise and play fetch. We have several different sized crates and a large play pen area we can assemble if needed. Cats may be kept in a quieter space if the owner prefers in the house’s primary room where a cat tree, two litter boxes, and all the love and cat toys they would ever need are waiting for them.

Anything! You let us know what you need and we’ll make it happen. We’re comfortable with delivering most anything a pet owner would need to do. We try to best mimic their lives at home so the more you let us know, the more we can keep things familiar for them :)
A typical day
Morning feeding followed by a walk (weather permitting). Then back to the house for some play time and naps. In the afternoons they’ll get attention from friends and family as they come and go followed by more play time. Then hanging out while dinner is cooked and more playing outside. Then usually laying on the bed or couch for some pets and cuddles during tv or a movie.

Availability
One of us is a 2nd grade teacher which offers open summers and afternoon work day finishes and the other is a pharmacist with flexible hours to balance our schedules as needed.
