Pet care experience
With experience walking both dogs and cats, I enjoy creating a moment of joy for all pets. I am currently unemployed as I await my school program to begin in September so I have plenty of time to check on your furry friends. Most of my dog walking experience is with prey-driven medium-sized dogs and puppies who lead with their nose. My cat walking experience is with a harness and a cat nervous around the big open sky. I have assisted in training my family’s dogs and caring for them my whole life. This includes medications, specialized diets, and more. As a current cat mom, I’ve had my fair share of vet visits, finding a cat hiding under the couch, cleaning up litter box accidents, and just playing with them in a way that feeds their prey-driven nature. I would love to spend time with your pet and it would bring me joy to give them some fun, too. Whether they need a long walk, a ball thrown, some medication administered, someone to pet them, or to practice some tricks, I’m down to cater to them.

Ryan loves all animals and is always excited to see them. She is kind and patient with them and always takes good care of them even if they are not her own. She loves working with both dogs and cats and I have never met an animal that didn't like her!

What is most important to me is your animal feeling safe. Your pet deserves to feel safe and cared for in their own home. I want to learn their preferences and needs, and earn their trust. Any information you have on that is helpful but I can also assess this over a visit without rushing the pet. I am someone driven by the needs of each individual pet as well as the type of pet - for example catering types of play to a cat versus a large german shepard versus to a tiny chihuahua. The pet comes first.

A typical day
I am happy to walk, jog, hike, throw a ball, play with wand toys, run around a backyard, pet them, brush them, etc. Whatever is most mentally stimulating. I have lots of experience training both cats and dogs and am happy to practice their training as well.

Availability
I am currently unemployed and have time to spend with your pets (and my own). For my cat, Whisk, we have a water fountain, feed her twice per day, do a trick routine with treats, play with her daily with wand toys, and occasionally explore the outdoors on a leash. I also clip her nails at home, administer occasional medications and monthly flea and tick treatments. With my family’s dogs we have specialized food for each pet, stay aware of any food guarding, play with them in the backyard, walk them daily, and occasionally hike with them. No routine is too complex for a pet! It varies by the animal and I’m happy to cater to their needs and what has been set up in your household.
