On call “Dog Auntie”
I grew up with a variety of dog breeds. Some had jobs, like guarding or hunting, while others were simple companions. We believe the dog's personality and inclinations determine a dog's role. I love all manner of dogs. I support zero discrimination against size, age, breed, need, or quirk. I love to adapt my technique to accommodate the specific needs of each dog in my care. I am mild-mannered and nurturing, naturally connected with dogs. I currently am unable to own (or board) a dog as my apartment building has restrictions. Therefore, I have a pretty open schedule. I desire quality time with a pup in need of the same. "It takes a village to raise a family," they say. I am available to be the extra member of support for the health & happiness of your loved one(s).

I can work with your dog in the environment you provide, be it your home, the local dog park, or simple laps around the block. But, ultimately, It is of the utmost importance that trust is established and maintained throughout our working relationship. I understand how challenging it can be to find someone with whom you wholeheartedly trust with the care of your pup, and I intend to be that person.

Ruthie has watched my Rat Terrier, Roosevelt, on numerous occasions. As a high energy breed he can be more than a handful but she was always patient and attentive. Absolutely dependable and trustworthy, I never worried about leaving him in her hands.
Ruthie has helped me out of a few serious jams. Her flexibility and patience has helped me so many times with my special needs pups (separation issues and generally deranged.) She is methodical and nurturing, a fantastic combo for our routines. I highly recommend her for your furry pup children.
Not only does Ruthie love animals more than anyone I've ever known, she is also very responsible with them. She once took my dog out for a poop, and ended up walking him 6 miles in the rain until he did his business. That's commitment. She's always on time and never once has she cancelled or no-showed. Jean Luc Picard (my pug) gets super-excited to see her because he knows that Ruthie will treat him like a king! I have no doubt in my mind that she will do the same for any other dog.
Ruthie is an amazing dog auntie, walker and sitter! She grew up with animals and it shows in her love, care and enjoyment of their company. She has dog sat my Lab-Pitt mix, Jake, on multiple occasions and there has never been a doubt that both he and my home are in good care. She is always very communicative and helpful whenever needed. Ruthie is an extremely mature individual and I recommend her without reservation.
Ruthie is an excellent dog caregiver! I travel frequently for work and trust her wholeheartedly with my doggos. She is punctual, trustworthy, kind, and responsible. Because she is a local gal, she knows all the good dog-friendly places and where to go in case of an emergency. Not only do my dogs love her, but I also like her as a person as well! I couldn't be happier with her services and know my dogs are being taken good care of when I am away.

Schedule
I work from home with very flexible hours. I am happy to supplement my days with some quality play or walk time with your pups while giving you relief, thus allowing you to tend to other matters when needed. In addition, I can build routines around your needs.
