Your dog’s new best buddy
Me and my boyfriend both love animals and love taking care of all pets. I’ve always been surrounded by dogs. As a family we had airedale terriers and also mixed breed (terriers) dogs. Can’t imagine my life without a dog in it. I’m very interested in learning about dog training/behaviour. Owning terriers prepared myself well for all kind of situations and taught me a lot.

Excellent service! Our cat, who can be difficult, was cared for with such kindness and attention. We returned home to a very happy and relaxed cat (as if we hadn't left). Reliable, trustworthy, diligent and highly recommended - with a massive thumbs up!
Ruta is a wonderful dog sitter. She looked after Rupert, my Golden Retriever puppy, for a weekend and he was in such a great mood when I returned home! I would happily hire Ruta again and highly recommend her
Popped in a few times to look after our tortoise while we were away. Sent pictures and did all that was required, Bubble seemed happy on our return. :))
Good communication throughout with Ruta for her drop-in visits to take care of Otis. We came home to a happy and calm dog : )
Harper had a lovely time with Ruta and we’ll definitely be asking her back. We were sent some great videos and were totally relaxed while we were away knowing that Harper - and Ruta - were having fun.

Schedule
I work at my studio with outside access that is 10min walk from my home and dogs are allowed. I bring my own dog(s) in. Work half day and always up for a long walk, play and training session.

Safety, trust & environment
At home I have a completely safe/fenced garden, 2 friendly dogs to keep your pup a company. When having Your dog around, he/she will spend most of the time with myself and my fox terrier girl. Dogs are allowed on furniture in our house and I can supervise 100% time/not leaving them alone. I have 2 girls that been around dogs since they were babies and they are very well ‘trained’ how to be around dogs and loves them very much.

A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both mentally and physically. I love using training (positive reinforcement using part of their daily food), learning new tricks. Also enrichment activities - natural chewing treats, lick mats, kongs to make their feed time a bit more challenging/interesting. Dogs are never bored in our household! Outside activities depends on your dogs need, long walks paired with training exercises. I like going to Dyke road park, St Annes well gardens, Preston Park, seafront, Rugby fields, Hove park. Usually 2 shorter walks on weekday (morning and lunch) and a long one in the evening. Weekends - 2 long walks morning and evening and a short lunch break.
