I've been caring for dogs for over 10 years and genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's unique personality. Whether it's going for long walks, playtime, sticking to a feeding schedule, or simply providing companionship, I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I'll treat your dog as if they were my own. I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and personalized care, and I'm always happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. I have an incredibly social and gentle three year old doberman who has been throoughly enjoying each and every pup that has come to visit.

Ruck was fantastic to deal with. We planned a long weekend trip with somewhat late notice and needed someone to watch our dog Cooper. Ruck was flexible and accommodating. Communication was consistent and he sent photo updates so we could rest assured that Cooper was being well taken care of. I would highly recommend Ruck as a pet sitter and we will certainly be our go-to when we need someone to watch our Cooper. Thank you!
Ruck and Blue are so wonderful and our Albie seems to have a great time there. Ruck is always great with communication and accommodated us when we had a late flight arrival causing a late pick up. We won’t hesitate to book again. He also accommodated giving medication to Albert when needed. Thanks Ruck and Blue! ♥️
We had our Albie stay with Ruck and Blue again, this time for a week. Ruck was easy to get a hold of and sent us photo updates which we very much appreciated! We are so happy to find a home that we can trust our boy to be at when we aren’t able to bring him with us. Thank you again, Ruck and Blue!
Ruck made himself available and was easy to communicate with. He sent us a picture and update and Albert seemed to have a great time with him and Blue!
Our lab Lightning stayed with Ruck for 6 nights. We were apprehensive about leaving him since he’s struggled in the past but Ruck made sure to put our minds at ease! He provided an update and photo part way through Lightning’s stay and was very flexible when our return time changed. When we picked Lightning up it was obvious that he was happy and had been well taken care of. Ruck’s dog was a great companion for Lightning during his stay! I would highly recommend Ruck if you need a pet sitter!
Ruck was an amazing sitter for my dog Bailey while I was travelling for a week. His dog Blue and Bailey were great buddies and he was beyond accomodating with my last minute request for a sitter after my plans fell through with another sitter. He sent updates throughout my trip and when I got back late from the airport to a dead car battery he was able to bring Bailey home to me that night! I would highly recommend him to anyone and I hope to be able to leave Bailey in his capable hands the next time I’m travelling 🙂

I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I'm happy to work around feeding schedules, medication times, playtime, and any special requests to help your dog feel comfortable and at home. My goal is to provide dependable, consistent care while giving you peace of mind that your pet is in safe, caring hands.

Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My home is a clean, safe, non-smoking environment where dogs can relax and feel at ease. I live in a quiet, private rural setting that provides a calm atmosphere away from busy roads and heavy traffic. My property features a fully fenced yard, giving dogs a secure space to play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors.. In addition, my home is located on a lake and is close to several parks and walking trails, providing plenty of opportunities for enriching walks, exercise, and new sights and smells tailored to each dog's comfort level and energy needs.

A typical day
We can go on scenic walks through nearby parks and trails, explore the beautiful lakeside surroundings, spend time playing fetch and other games in my fully fenced yard, or simply relax together with plenty of affection and companionship.
