Pet care experience
I have been dog walking and pet sitting using Rover for the past 2 years. On top of this I have lived with pets since I was 6. I’m very familiar with living and caring for both cats and dogs of all sizes, behaviours and ages. When I am not at university I live with a 10 year old dalmatian, and previously helped to care for an excitable kitten and household cat for 12 years. I am experienced in walking, feeding and general hygiene and care of animals. Along with personal experience, I also volunteered at the Cats Protection shelter for 1 year. I learned how to maintain excellent hygiene of their living areas and also how to approach a range of cats with differing moods and behaviours.
Reviews

Robyn is lovely. Our pets and flat were looked after so well. She gave us updates which is so reassuring. Would definitely use again and recommend

Robyn was reliable and easy to communicate with. She took care of our cat for a couple of days. Would definitely have her back!

Robyn was fantastic as always - our cats are really comfortable and love spending time with her, even Brian who is normally shy with people he doesn’t see all the time. Robyn is great at sending updates and pictures which is much appreciated when we’re away. Wouldn’t hesitate to continue to book Robyn in the future - thank you again!

Derek and Brian love when Robyn comes to visit! Robyn is great at sending pictures and providing updates, and always makes sure our cats are well taken care of. We really appreciate her going the extra mile to pick up keys and meet the cats beforehand. Wouldn’t hesitate to book Robyn again

Safety, trust & environment
My full attention is given to animals under my care. I keep an eye on the pet and ensure that all of its needs are taken care of whilst also allowing them their own space. Your approach towards pets is key, their mood can vary and their behaviours give an indication of how much attention or space they are wanting at that moment, trust is built upon this slowly. In others homes, allowing them to come to you and letting them adjust to having you around is the best method, keeping a calm environment. A meet up before hand is always handy as well for us to see how things will play out.
Information Robyn S. would like to know about your pet
If there are any particular walks they enjoy, what sort of distance is best suited for them too. How well they interact with other dogs. Also favourite toys to keep them interested. And any snacks I can bring along with me.
A typical day
I’m always up for long walks and getting out and about. I love walks in forests and parks. I always have a tennis ball and a few treats handy making me a dogs best friend. It’s also great fun keeping them entertained in the house, either by tug toys or hide and seek treat games. Equally, with a calmer dog, I’m up for a chill in the house and cuddles.
