Caring Dog Sitter for All Breeds & Sizes
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life—my grandma was a breeder of King Charles Cavaliers, so caring for dogs has always come naturally. Over the years, I’ve owned and trained German Shepherds, focusing on recall, ball work, and general behavior. I currently help care for my parents’ dog and truly enjoy the routine and bond that comes with it. With experience handling both small and large breeds, I’m confident and calm with dogs of all temperaments. My wife and I are considering getting our first family dog and are using Rover to give back while also exploring what full-time dog ownership would mean for us. Dog sitting gives us the perfect balance to care for your pup with love, attention, and experience.

Robert and Becka looked after my French bulldog for a week. I received regular updates from his walks in Tring park and I picked up a happy dog. They obviously enjoy having dogs around and I would definitely be happy to ask them to look after Paddington again.

Rob and Becca stayed and looked after Buster while I was away for a few nights. I was kept up to date with photos and it was clear that Buster had a good time. I have no hesitation in booking them again, and have already done so.
Robert is amazing with animals. I have 2 blue and white greyhounds who he often looks after when I go away or just through the day when I’m out for a while. My dogs adore him and get so excited when they see him. I rarely trust anyone to walk them as they can be quite timid and become easily spooked but he is great with them and I have no worries when he takes them out.
Rob has looked after my family’s dog on a number of occasions (a cheeky, fluffy Tibetan terrier called Maisey) and he’s developed a new nickname -‘Dr Doolittle’! Maisey absolutely loves him because he devotes so much time and attention to playing with her, teaching her new tricks, walking her in new places, and he’s even managed to help improve her recall when off the lead. What started off as the odd day or weekend sitting, has turned into two week stints when my family go away. They wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after her now as they know she’s in safe, responsible hands, and she seems to always come back home better behaved! If you’re looking for someone who is confident with dogs of all shapes and sizes, really gets to know their personalities and needs, Rob is your man!

Safety, trust & environment
Whether caring for pets in our home or yours, their safety, comfort, and routine come first. I’m happy to work to your dog’s existing schedule, including crating, feeding times, and any ongoing behavioural work. At our apartment, we have a large green space at the front for regular toilet breaks, and if your dog needs more exercise, we’re happy to go on multiple walks a day – especially around nearby Tring Park. When dog sitting in your home, I’ll treat your space with the utmost respect and follow any rules or boundaries you set to ensure your dog feels comfortable and secure in their usual environment.

A typical day
A typical day starts with a morning walk through the beautiful Tring Park – perfect for stretching legs and burning off some energy. Throughout the day, your dog will have plenty of company as both my wife and I work from home, with regular toilet breaks in our large front green and playtime breaks to keep them stimulated. For more active dogs, we’re happy to go on multiple walks and include games like fetch or structured ball work to keep their minds and bodies engaged. In the evening, we wind down with another relaxing walk before settling in for some well-earned cuddles and calm time.

Availability
Both my wife and I work from home, which means your dog will have company and attention throughout the day. We go for daily walks in Tring Park every morning and evening, and as a young, active couple, we’re well-suited to meet the needs of more energetic breeds. While we live in a first-floor apartment, we have plenty of space at the front and rear of the property, and Tring Park is just a two-minute walk away – perfect for regular exercise and outdoor time. Our Rover calendar is kept up to date with our availability, but we’re also flexible with drop-off and pick-up times as long as we’ve agreed them in advance.
