Pet care experience
I've always loved dogs, ever since I was young. I have had many family dogs in the past and always want to be around them. Now, I spend my time smiling at dog owners looking for ways to pet them. I got my own dog Leia, 6 years ago, and she's a very sensitive dog and needy, but has been trained well. She's only with me half the time, so I'm looking for other dogs to fill the void or to spend some time with her too! I've got a dog blog that I write on and give advice to other pet owners, and love to take my dog to agility.

I've known Rob for more than ten years, and in that time I've seen first hand how conscientious he is about looking after his dog Leia. She's well trained, well looked-after, and generally a lovely dog to be around. Rob has a gentle manner and I would trust him to look after my dog without any concerns at all.

While my area doesn't have a fenced garden, I'm always able to use leads and harnesses to take dogs out for their business. That's if they've not completely emptied themselves on our long walks! Having a dog myself, I've got loads of dog toys and treats, and don't have anything small or dangerous lying around the house.

A typical day
My dog is very active and loves to be busy. A typical day would involve a morning walk and an evening walk, depending on the weather, we'll sometimes play with a ball in the park with a thrower. And if it's a particularly miserable day, I love to hide treats around the house and do reward-based training.

Availability
I work from home, full-time, and have a very relaxed job. I spent a few hours a day walking Leia and often take her to the park which is just a short walk across the road.
