I don’t recall a time in my life when I haven’t adored animals! They have always had a mystical energy that I felt not everyone could identify with. I used to leave bowls of food and milk for cats in my backyard. I also loved to hang bird feeders around and watch the birds come congregate. It was sort of my own jungle paradise or secret garden. Eventually both the cats and the birds warmed up to me and hung around in the yard when I went out back to play. I honestly felt that we had connection. Throughout my adolescence I was always involved with helping my friends take care of their animals. I assisted my neighbors for years who were dog breeders with their puppies. I helped them train the puppies, feed them, and bath them sometimes. Throughout my childhood I have had the pleasure of having a beautiful fish task, an adorable red ear slider turtle, and seven hamsters. Since I moved away from home I’ve had the unofficial job of pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors numerous times, so I figured it was time to make it official! I was blessed to become a pet parent ten years ago for two fantastic felines Prince and Sheba. They are endlessly entertaining and definitely keep me on my toes. They are the best roommates I could have ever asked for and I’m tremendously grateful. I love cats, dogs, and practically every animal in between. I also understand how nerve racking and scary it can be, along with the pressure that can come along with finding a sitter to care about your animals the way that you do. I genuinely want to be helpful and I know that if you really want someone to take care of your fur family members with the upmost love and concern then, I’ll be the correct pet sitter for you! Risi exceeded her high reputation and reviews while caring for our many cats. She met every need and expectation of ours and went above and beyond in each and every one of her drop-in visits to our house. Additionally, Risi communicated very well throughout our time away so we always felt in the loop and further comforted that our cats were indeed in good hands. And they absolutely were. Risi is the best!
This is my second booking with Risi, and although my first booking was for 10 days, somehow it feels like this is our 100th booking! 😂 I booked Risi again to help me with my kitties’ very first baths. Both of my babies were feral, so needless to say… it was definitely an EXPERIENCE, and we all left with a few war wounds! 😂 But even through all of that, Risi remained so patient, kind, gentle, and caring with both of my babies. And to top it all off, she went above and beyond by hanging some beautiful plants for me and even helping revive and replant one of my dying plants. 🥹🌱 I literally could not have asked for a better sitter to have around my babies. Risi is truly a 10/10 sitter! You will absolutely not be disappointed booking her. She genuinely cares for your babies as if they were her own, and you can feel how passionate she is about animals. I’m so grateful I found her and will definitely continue booking with her. My kitties have officially approved her! 🐾❤️
After having so many disappointments with friends and neighbors looking after my cats, I finally gave in and started scrolling on my phone at 1 AM, where I came across Risi on Rover. I requested a booking, and she immediately responded. We scheduled a meet-and-greet, and almost immediately, I knew she was the right pick for me. I’m very particular and direct when it comes to my cats, and Risi was so forthcoming, attentive, and reassuring during our meeting. It was clear right away that she is genuinely serious and passionate about caring for animals. I booked her just one week before my 10-day trip across the country, and I was SO nervous about leaving my kitties for the first time! I ended up booking two visits a day, and we messaged every single day while I was away. She sent plenty of updates, pictures, and videos, and she was always so good about responding, no matter what time of day it was. I’m SO happy I decided to give Rover a shot. Risi gave me the peace of mind I needed while I was away, and now I’m confident that I’ve found a lifelong Auntie/Sitter for my cats! 🥹🐾❤️ I will ALWAYS book visits with Risi — even if it’s just for playdates! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. If you’re looking for someone who will love and care for your pets like they’re her own, Risi is the one! 🐾
