Availability
I work from home and have two of my own dogs that get attention all throughout the day. Working from home allows me to take care of their needs at the right times instead of them needing to wait.

Information Rikki F. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any special instructions or care needs for your pet. Whether it's medication, sensitivities to anything, any kind of issue they currently have or can arise....
A typical day
During the day time they'll be fed and let out as many times as needed. In the afternoon my daughter loves to train dogs to do tricks for treats, play tug of war with the dogs and their toys, run around and get them excited... When I cook the dogs usually come and get any scraps they're allowed like carrot peels for tricks.

Reviews

Rikki was very communicative and very prompt replying back. She sent photos and made our dog Jax feel at home. Jax sometimes has separation anxiety and not comfortable at new places. He adjusted well and had a great stay. We will use Rikki again on our next trip!

Not a great experience from communication or transparency on many levels. Rikki seems nice and this was nothing personal. I had her watch my two small rescue dogs for 3-4 days. Prior to booking I asked her multiple times if she would have other dogs while watching my pups. She mentioned only one older and disabled dog. (Along with her own 2 dogs). Upon arrival to her house to drop them off, she mentioned that she doesn’t allow owners inside or to see any of the space they’ll be staying in which was a surprise to me. I could hear lots of barking and asked if she had additional dogs to which she replied no, it was just her policy. Upon picking up my dogs, her blinds were up and 4 other dogs came to the window, two which were larger and young, which didn’t align with what I was told when she committed to watch my dogs. My smaller dog also had been scratched on her eye and it was inflamed, of which Rikki said she didn’t know how it happened. I felt misled, and assume the scratch was from an active dog. I was also very disappointed in the lack of proactive communication. I let her know multiple times that I’d love to see pics or videos of my dogs and get any updates through the days. I dropped the dogs off at 7am and asked for pics multiple times and was told, “I’ll send later”. 14 hours later, at 9pm she sent pics. Each day after that was similar. Overall my experience left me feeling uneasy with her lack of communication and lack of transparency. I appreciate her watching my dogs with only 2-3 days notice, but I would not use her again or recommend.

Excellent job!!! My dogs were very happy and Rikki was always in touch with me. Sending reports of the day and pictures!!!
When I picked up my dog Rikki said her front paw was hurting but did not know why as nothing traumatic had happened. I said ok I will watch her. After checking her paw when we got home I didn't find anything unusual. However, I did see that my dog was very disoriented and lethargic as if she had been medicated. She does not take aything so this was concerning. Normally when she stays with a sitter she is very excited when I pick her up but she didn't show any excitement. This was the fiest time staying here. I have waited a couple of days before writing this review to see if anything changes but she is still moving slowly with no excitement. She keeps pacing around the house trying to get comfortable but can't settle down. I am very concerned that something tramatized her while staying with the sitter as her behavior is completely abnormal that I will need to take her to the vet for observation. I will not be using this sitter again.
