A Dedicated, 1-on-1 Small Dog Stay
Finding a sitter who dedicatedly watches only one small dog at a time is a massive challenge - but that is exactly what we do. Inspired by 14 years with my late Yorkie, Walle, our home is a quiet, pack-free stay where your pup is my one and only priority. You can travel with ease knowing your little one is being watched with the same unconditional care I once gave to Walle. Although my profile lists pups up to 15 lbs, we offer care for guests up to 20 lbs.

Richard was great! His communication was excellent and timely. I loved getting pictures and videos of my dog each day while I was on vacation. I would book with him again in a heartbeat.
Richard was the most fabulous host for boarding my dog, Mochi, for a week! He provided a loving home with his family, who cared for Mochi as if he were their own. Daily updates were provided with pictures and videos, which my kids really enjoyed seeing along with daily progress notes. Richard also went above my expectations when he offered to give Mochi a bath when he noticed him licking his leg, and also offered to sleep next to him at night if he had any separation anxiety. I would definitely use Richard for boarding services again in the future and recommend him for others looking for an in-home boarding experience for a place that feels like home.
Richard and family took excellent care of our Daisy. It was her first stay with him and he sent us regular updates, photos and video. Was a huge reassurance that she was not only doing okay but playing and having an awesome time with Richard and his family. We will definitely book with him in the future!

Richard and his family were the perfect fit for our dog, Honey! Honey is a 15 year old, small dog who has recently gone deaf. She struggles with other dogs and I was having a hard time finding someone who would only take one dog at a time. Then I found Richard! Honey felt right at home with them. I loved the picture and video updates each night. She returned home happy, healthy and ready to play. Thank you so much for taking care of our sweet old girl!

My flexible daily schedule allows for a consistent routine, including three to four walks a day and regular breaks fully dedicated to one-on-one play. Between my availability and other family members in the house, someone is always present to ensure your little one has constant companionship.

I set a 20 lb weight limit and a one-client-only policy so your little one never has to compete for space or attention. To keep you connected, I will send daily photo updates so you can see exactly how comfortable your dog is while you are away.
Un día normal
Our morning begins with a neighborhood walk and feeding. Throughout the day, your pup will hang out with me in our main living area and upstairs office. Mid to late-afternoon includes play time in our spacious basement or backyard patio, followed by an evening walk and dinner. To keep your pup safe and comfortable, our primary house rule is that pups are crate trained, as we crate them in our living room during brief daytime errand runs when needed. For overnight sleep, crating in our living room is our standard routine, but I'm always happy to discuss special accommodations and alternatives. Rest assured, if your pup ever has trouble settling overnight, I'll be right by their side!

- Before accepting a booking for any new guests, we always begin with a Meet & Greet at a neutral, public location. This ensures we are a safe fit and a great match for your little one. We like to understand your dog's daily routines and likes/dislikes. Following the Meet & Greet, we will mutually confirm the booking if we both feel everything is a good fit for your pup.
