For me, there is nothing more rewarding than giving love to animals and receiving their appreciation. I pride myself on the ability to adapt and meet a challenge. For example, care for a dog that is blind, dislikes the rain, and pretends it’s swallowed its meds! And a cat that is timid, deaf, and allergic to plastic. Some dog breeds I’ve cared for include Shih Tzu, Beagle, Spaniel, Boxer, Labradoodle, German Shepherd, Akita and St. Bernard; kitty breeds include Bengal and Devon Rex; plus many blends and rescues. I strive to provide mental stimulation and physical activity, especially outdoors whenever appropriate. And, finally, if pets are motivated and happy, I’m happy! I telecommute part time either from my home or any other location of choice. A flexible schedule allows me to undertake pet visits throughout the day and at night plus weekends and holidays. I am available for short and extended visits and often stay at a client’s home 24/7.
