- Starting in 2025 I will be stepping away from pet sitting! Thank you for trusting me with your furbabies and homes in the past. - Coming from a large Italian family we have had our share of pets! Growing up we had a lab mix, border collie mix, dachshund mix, chihuahua mix, bichi frise, calico, tortie, red earwd wlider, parakeet, 10 lil hamsters, and a bunny. Every one of them was a different character, and cemented my love for animals of all shapes and sizes. Nowadays, I happily volunteer to help my friends in the DMV area with their pets; whether they are on vacation, traveling for work, or just stuck at the office much later than anticipated. When I first moved to DC, I lived building with a no dog policy which laid the foundation of now owning three lovely kitties. In my free time I love to help out with a different local rescues, and have a constant rotation of fosters hanging out in my home. I have a robust 5-star 100+ walks profile with Wag!, and I’m extremely familiar with giving medication or abiding by strict rules for different animals need I am gainfully employed at one of the local government agencies and therefore don’t rely on this as my sole source of income, but as a user of Rover I understand the importance of having trustworthy and reliable individuals providing services. I really enjoy providing peace of mind to my neighbors about their for a family members and try to do all I can to make these experiences the absolute best they can be!

In any clients home I am sure to follow every single instruction outlined by the owner and ask as many questions as possible to ensure that I follow whatever the normal routine is. In my own home, I have a dedicated room for my fosters or any pets that stay with me. This guestroom is completely outfitted with everything a kitty could possibly want, and I have a pretty solid routine of making sure to interact with them throughout the day. For potentially a long-term boarders, I am happy to attempt to integrate a visitor with my resident cats. All three of my cats are extremely laid-back and friendly, and welcome all of the new cats that come through my household.

I do like to know if a dog enjoys socializing, or is more of an independent individual. Regardless, I normally avoid dog interactions (as you never know the personality of the other dog).
A typical day
I'm a huge fan of finding more outdoors areas for dogs. Depending on energy level I'm open to running, playing fetch, as well as letting the dog lead where he/she wants to sniff. When it comes to kittys, I take the time to understand what their favorite toys are, and what their personal needs are. Even between my three cats, each of them have distinct personalities and distinct likes, and dislikes.
