Going away and leaving your best friends behind can be scary and nerve-wracking! I prefer visiting your home when caring for your pets, as it's an environment your animal has already established as a safe place! As a fellow pet parent, I'm happy to say that I'm very much a helicopter pet-sitter. If I notice anything slightly off I will never hesitate to let you know! It's always better to be safe than sorry. I will use my experience in the pet care and vet field to make sure your loved one is safe and happy while you're away!

A typical day
The very first thing I do upon arriving at a client's home is to introduce myself to the pet, then take them outside for a bathroom break. If your furry friend is a cat, I'll check the litterbox to make sure everything is okay! I try to make sure the animals I care for are properly stimulated with play and attention! If your pet has a favorite toy or treat, I will always try to incorporate it into our sessions together!

Animals have been my life since before I could walk! I've cared for all sorts of animals in all life stages, and I've worked in pet retail, pet care, and more recently in beginner vet care! I do best with older dogs but I can handle puppies and seniors, and I can administer medications from pills to insulin injections!

We can't recommend her enough! We found her very last minute after an illness completely changed our vacation plans and our usual pet/house sitter wasn't available. From our very first meeting, she was kind, patient, and confident. Our dog is anxious and reactive with new people, so finding someone we trust is incredibly important. She took the time to let him warm up at his own pace, built trust with him so naturally, and by the end of the week it was obvious they had formed a great bond. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. She followed every instruction we left, kept us updated, and took wonderful care of both our pets and our home. We came back to a spotless house and happy, well-cared-for animals. It's such a relief to have found someone we can truly trust, and we'll absolutely be hiring her again. Rebecca has an immense amount of love and care when it comes to assisting with or taking care of pets. She tries to make sure that the pet she is in contact with have everything that would make them feel safe. When dealing with pets recovering from a surgery, she ensures that the environment that the pets have is as sanitary as possible while not disrupting the level of comfort for them. I've never seen an animal not warm up to her instantly. Rebecca has always treated my pets with kindness and grace that they deserve. I'd trust Rebecca to take care of my pets again in a heartbeat.
