I’m available most evenings and weekends and make time every day for visits, walks, feedings, playtime, and overnight care. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because caring for animals has always been a big part of my life.

It’s really helpful to know your pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs ahead of time. Things like feeding schedule, energy level, medical needs, behavior around new people, and any triggers or things they don’t like help me give the best care. I also like to know what they enjoy, favorite toys, sleeping spots, or habits, so I can keep things familiar and comfortable for them

I like to keep things simple and based on what your pet actually enjoys. For cats, I’ll do playtime with toys, let them explore, and give them attention or space depending on their personality. For dogs, I’ll take them on walks, play with them, and make sure they get their energy out. I also spend time just being with them so they feel comfortable and not alone while you’re away. As a bonus, I like to keep things clean too, whether that’s tidying up around feeding areas, litter boxes, or just keeping the space neat while I’m there.

I’m a college student and lifelong animal lover with experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. While I have extensive experience with kitten care, including bottle-feeding and socialization, I’ve also spent years caring for larger breeds such as Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Huskies, and other high-energy dogs. I adapt to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means active play, walks, feeding, medication, or extra patience and comfort. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for like family while their owners are away.

Rebecca was incredible! She sent daily picks of her hanging with our dog Pete and we felt super comfortable the whole time. When we got back, our apartment was clean and tidy! We will definitely have her back
Absolutely wonderful pet sitter! Rebecca has now become our regular cat sitter for our cat Juniper whenever we go out of town. I highly recommend her since she does a wonderful job throughout the visit and always goes the extra mile to make sure your pet feels cared for. She is also great navigating any unplanned visits or emergencies when necessary which is an added bonus. 10/10 recommend Rebecca if you a looking for a pet sitter in downtown Chicago!
