Pet care is part of my daily rhythm. I work from home and run my dog-training business, so dogs are woven into my routine from morning to night. We start the day with potty breaks and calm hangs, then move into enrichment, short training sessions, and walks tailored to each dog’s needs. Because I’m home throughout the day, I can offer consistent supervision, structured downtime, and plenty of attention. Evenings are for relaxation, extra cuddles, and one last potty break before bed.

In my home, dogs get lots of love, structure, and attention. We hang out, go for walks, play outside, and relax together. I make sure every dog gets the amount of exercise, downtime, and enrichment they need to feel their best.

Information Rachel W. would like to know about your pet
I prefer to do a meet and greet before hand to make sure we are a fit for each other. I do NOT take on dogs with severe separation distress. I am with your dog almost 24/7 but I do need to leave my house at times.
A typical day
We have a hiking trail on our property we will take dogs on, about two acres fenced in, and I always love playing any game your dog wants to play! Tug, fetch, you name it.

Pet care experience
I bring a strong behavior background to pet care. I’m a certified trainer and have years of hands-on experience with everything from eager puppies to seniors needing slower, gentler routines. I specialize in supporting dogs who benefit from structure, enrichment, and thoughtful handling. Because of my training experience, I’m skilled in spotting stress signals early, preventing conflicts, and helping dogs settle into a rhythm that feels good for them. I also have extensive experience caring for boarding dogs in my own home, so you can trust that your pet is safe, supervised, and supported. I truly love what I do, and I care for every dog like they’re my own.
Reviews
I left my Lab at Rachel and Kevin's for 4 nights and it was an excellent experience for both my pet and myself. I didn't worry and Lucy moved right in just like home. I ended up having to extend my stay for a day and it was very easy. I will definately use their service again and would recommend them highly. Thank you both for the pleasant stay.

Levin and Rachel are absolutely the best and if u Ever need a sitter i highly recommend these two. My Blaze a aussie is a nervous dog and never been away from me. they were so good with him...they have been sending pictures and letting me know how hes doing. Thank you Rachel and Kevin
Rachel and Kevin were great to work with! Rachel arranged a meet and greet that went really well, and reassured me that Blackie would be in good hands. She even sent me pictures while I away. Thanks again Rachel, it was really nice to get away for the weekend without any worries!!!
Dogs were happy and relaxed when I got home after Rachel's visits, which included some outdoor time and their supper. Recommended Rover.com/Rachel to neighbors.
