Hi all! My name is Rachel and I’m an experienced pet parent and caretaker. I currently own a 6 year old tuxedo cat rescue named Kaz, who is the cat manifestation of chaos, but grew up with large dogs, specifically Samoyeds and a Border Collie. I have years of experience in dog care and am able to handle larger, excitable dogs. I have extensive cat care experience from several years of pet sitting on rover plus being a cat mom and would love to help with your pet!

I am very careful with instructions for pets and will follow everything you says to the letter. As long time pet owner, I understand how important it is for safety and peace of mind. I’m also happy to send pictures to confirm pets are safe and happy.

I know my sensitive, cuddle-demanding cat is in great hands with Rachel. She is super reliable and her daily updates are thorough and calm my nerves about leaving my little guy for more than a few days. He seems to always be very happy to see Rachel!
Rachel was amazing!!! I loved how she stuck to the schedule we’d agreed to, shared such detailed notes, and took lots of pictures to show me how Honey was doing. I felt confident my little girl was in good hands which put me at ease while away. Thank you Rachel!
Rachel was great to work with. Was easy to communicate and coordinate with. She even got our shy kitty to come out of hiding, which is almost unheard of!

We were so grateful to have Rachel when our travel plans unexpectedly changed after our flight was canceled. She was incredibly flexible and was able to help us with a last minute booking, which gave us so much peace of mind during a stressful situation. Just like our first booking, she sent plenty of adorable photos and thoughtful updates after each visit, and it was clear our cats were in wonderful hands. Rachel was fantastic! She was communicative, flexible with coordinating key pickup, and made us feel so comfortable while we were away. She sent lots of adorable photos and left sweet little updates after each visit, which we always looked forward to. Most importantly, our cats were clearly well cared for and happy when we got home. Schedule
I work from home in Park Slope and have flexibility for dog walking and pet check ins as needed! I am also free for evenings and weekends if asked with enough notice.

- To me, it’s important to know more about your dogs temperament, allergies, likes and dislikes before a visit. It’s important to start off on the right foot and I’d love to know as much as possible about your pet in advance!
