I am very cautious when it comes to taking pets outside. I always make sure there are no other animals outside before they are taken out, always leashed because I do not have a fenced yard yet (hoping to get one soon). I have two dogs that love to play and will make your baby feel at home. If you dogs need some space from time to time or get overwhelmed easily, I have no problem locking my dogs in my bedroom for a little while to give them space.

I will need to know if they have any diet restriction or allergies. I also would like to know how often they are in need of potty breaks and if they have any special needs that need to be met!
A typical day
We will go on walks around my neighborhood and have lots of cuddles throughout the day. If you are wanting your pet to learn commands (sit, stay, lay down, paw), I would also be happy to work with them on that!

Pet care experience
I have always had pets in my life! From turtles & fish to guinea pigs & mice to dogs & cats! I currently have two dogs, Mia and Brax! I rescued both of them as wee little puppies, so I understand the responsibility and work they can be (and trouble)! My childhood dog, Diesel, passed in February of 2018, so I also understand the precautions and limitations senior dogs can have. I currently work from home, so I am available for their needs throughout the day. I do have a two year old daughter who loves animals and is very gentle, but she is at preschool from 9am -5pm every weekday. I know the stress of trying to find someone you trust to take care of your fur babies while you're away, and I want to be that person that you trust and that they love to see! I will make sure they are comfortable, safe, happy and well taken care of :)

Rachel was wonderful! Kept us informed, sent pics, even saved a couple of the baby teeth our pup lost. He's really energetic and excitable and she kept him busy with walks and attention. Could not have been happier with the experience! I will be reaching out to her again for future vacations when I will need a place for Snickers to have fun.
Great Job. I received just the right amount of updates and quick responses to messages. Both dogs were happy and healthy upon my return. I will definitely use Rachel's services in the future. Two thumbs up.
