Excluding two years in college (2009-11), I have always shared my heart and home with pets. I grew up on a farm in New York State and was responsible for the care of various animals throughout my childhood. My grandmother bred Australian Shepherds and some of my fondest memories are from assisting with the births and care of those litters. Throughout the years I've always been more than happy to help friends and family with any pet care needs that might arise. I've spent roughly the last decade caring for my own fur babies: Stella, an anxious lab/border collie mix (10 years old); and Ziggy (12 years old) & Kia (8 years old), two crazy but cool cats. All three have been with me since they were itty bitty babies. If I had the space and money, my home would be filled with more rescues, but until that time I'm more than content to share my time and love with your furry friends!
