I have a very flexible schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my week. I’m available for early-morning drop-offs during the week, after 6pm on weekdays, and pretty much anytime on weekends. I build my day around making sure pets are walked, fed, comfortable, and getting the attention they need.

Your dog will be treated like family, kept safe, and given consistent love and supervision. My goal is to make your pup feel at home while you’re away.

We start the day with a potty break and some fresh air, and I keep them on their usual meal and walk schedule so nothing feels unfamiliar. Throughout the day, they’ll get plenty of love & attention — from playing with toys inside, checking out new smells in the yard, or going for a walk if that’s part of their routine. I’m home often, so your dog will never feel lonely or ignored. Evenings are calm and cozy, with snuggles, outdoor breaks, and a peaceful environment to settle in for the night.

I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 12 years, and animals have pretty much always been a part of my life. I’ve worked at an animal hospital and also volunteered at a shelter, so I’m comfortable with pets who need extra patience, specialized routines, or a calm, confident handler. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and love on their pets like they’re my own. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or needs gentler senior care, I adjust to their personality so they always feel safe, understood, and cared for.

Rachel was great with our 2 dogs. She provided great communication and was very responsive. They didn’t want to leave!
Rachel was an awesome dog sitter for the weekend! We have never used rover before and were apprehensive with leaving Sadie with a stranger, but she made the experience fantastic. She provided regular updates and photos, and Sadie was as happy as can be, and got plenty of exercise and fun with Rachel's kids. We will absolutely be relying on Rachel again for dog sitting!
