Hi there, we are Rachel and Nick! We are Northern Virginia locals and went to Radford and Longwood University. Rachel is a Social Worker and Nick is a Teacher. We have two sweet Miniature Poodles, Archie and Cooper.

We definitely lucked out by stumbling across Rachel + Nick to watch our dog over the fourth of July weekend! They are extremely kind and responsive caregivers. We received lots of communication while we were away-constant updates and pictures. They were a joy to work with and took amazing care of our girl. I would highly recommend them and will be booking them again in the future!

We can provide plenty of play and exercise, rest, and ensure positive interactions with our own two dogs. You will always receive multiple daily updates and open communication, so you will never have to wonder how your dog is doing.

The following information is required before a confirmed booking as we feel it is important to know: your pet’s typical routine, any known allergies, medications, or health concerns, any behavioral issues or specific triggers, current Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations, and how your pet interacts with other animals. We do highly recommend a meet and greet to make sure it is a great fit for everyone!
A typical day
We tailor each stay to your pet’s unique personality and preferences. Whether your pup loves long walks, energetic playtime, or relaxing snuggles on the couch, we are here to make them feel happy, loved, and right at home. Your pet will enjoy a well-rounded experience with us.

Currently, our boarding availability on our calendar is limited due to our schedules. When boarding, we follow your pup’s routine and only accept one booking at a time. We stay at home the full booking to provide supervision and attention to your pet.
