A typical day

For dogs, walks are centered around sniff walks to allow mental enrichment and decompression. Running is available upon request. Puppies are welcome, and I can help reinforce basic leash manners and commands if needed. Drop in visits include plenty of attention, affection, and check ins to ensure pets are comfortable and doing well at home. For younger dogs during overnight stays, potty breaks every 2–4 hours are available if booked at least two weeks in advance.

Calm and Loving Care for Pets!

Pet care experience

Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve worked with a wide variety of pets ranging from energetic puppies to senior pets including ones that need medication, basic leash support, routine reinforcement, weight management and high/low energy care. My goal is always to keep pets calm, comfortable and confident while you’re away. I take a gentle, caring approach, follow routines closely, and send frequent photo updates so you always feel at ease knowing your pets (and home) are in good hands.

Rachel took excellent care of my dog and two cats during the Christmas holidays! She was so consistent and thoughtful with her care. Would definitely recommend her to watch your pets!

Rachel helped to take care of my 2 cats for a little over a week when I was out of town. My one kitty who usually hides would want Rachel to give her head scratched and pet her. My senior kitty needed thyroid and blood pressure meds mixed with her food and Rachel was happy to help with this for me. I am picky on who I have care for my babaies when I am away. She was professional, caring and my cats did not seem to care that I was gone, haha. I highly recommend Rachel as you can tell her love for animals.

Rachel took brilliant care of our 3 dogs. It was a BIG job because each of my rescues had specific needs (1) Diabetes (2) Skittish (3) Puppy. Rachel followed through on everything that was asked of her plus so much more. She went above and beyond in their care and by the time we came home, my husband and I knew we found our forever dog sitter. I highly recommend!

Rachel has watched my dog Onyx on multiple occasions and Onyx loves her so much. I adopted Onyx from the meat trade so she is more on the anxious side, pretty timid when you first meet her but warms up after a few times. Rachel always did a great job of being patient with Onyx and now everytime Onyx sees Rachel she gets so excited.
