When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of love, playtime, fresh food and water, and a clean environment—whether that’s scooping litter, cleaning up messes, or wiping paws. For walks, I go at your dog’s pace, whether that means a relaxed stroll or a more energetic outing. During longer pet-sitting stays, I provide companionship, follow any specific instructions closely (like medications or feeding schedules), and keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know your pet is safe and happy.

It’s helpful to know their daily routine, any medical needs, feeding instructions, and how they typically behave around new people or animals. I also like to know if they have any quirks—like being nervous around loud noises, pulling on leash, or guarding food or toys—so I can support them better!

Rachel is amazing! I appreciate all the pictures and updates on Daphne. This is my second time booking Rachel and I would recommend her to anyone! This time around Daphne threw up on the first day and Rachel was so kind to clean it up, let me know, and make sure Daphne was okay. The second day Daphne had a toy stuck on her collar and Rachel saved the day by freeing her and making sure Daphne wasn’t hurt. This is exactly why I use Rover instead of leaving my cat alone for a few days. You never know what could happen and I like the peace of mind that someone I trust will reliably check on Daphne and take care of her everyday. Definitely will continue using Rachel, Daphne and I love her!
