I am currently a part-time student at UConn Storrs, but I am based out of Storrs, CT. I am available weekends (Friday-Sunday) throughout the school year for walks, drop-ins, and overnights. I am in the area full-time on weekdays for walks, hikes or other fun activities with your doggos!

I can work around whatever setup you already have in your home. I have plenty of experience getting dogs in and out of crates/kennels as well as house training my own dogs if crates aren't your thing! Any routine you already have with your dog, I will be able to pick up on and get things done smoothly and safely! Before Rover, I worked at a doggy daycare, where I was trained in administering medicine (pills, creams, wipes etc.) and many dog handling techniques to keep both your doggy and I safe!

Let me know if your doggo has any anxiety or accommodations I should know about! I like to meet clients with their dogs as many times as needed for your pet to feel safe with me when you aren’t present! And don’t worry I have many tricks to help us bond faster, as many times as needed usually means about twice!

Your doggo and I will go on a nice 30/45/60 minute walk, hike, or run! We can also do fun enrichment with treats as well as a good old cuddle time on the couch!

I have been working with dogs in multiple capacities for years! I have had an on and off dog walking business of my own since I was 14, and working in daycares/kennels since I was 16. I have taken care of dogs big and small, and young and old. And I love them all!

Everything was perfect as always!
Rachel did great caring for my large timid but curious rescue. She gave my dog his daily long walk 45-60 minutes. MY home was clean when I got back even with a large shedding dog. I got videos and pictures of my pets. She also did great with my guinea pig - she held him and fed him by hand.
Rachel G. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.
Rachel took care of Jasper while we went for a trip. She kept me updated with everything that was going on. I knew that Jasper is in good hands and didn’t have to worry about him.
