Availability
I work from home, so I have plenty of time and flexibility for pet care. I take my sweet pup on three walks a day - morning (20-45 min), afternoon (10-15 min), and evening (20-45) - and visiting dogs are welcome to join us. When the weather is nice, dogs can move freely between inside and outside in the large fenced yard (unless you prefer otherwise for your dog).

Information Rachel F. would like to know about your pet
I provide a calm, social home environment and am a great fit for dogs who are comfortable around people and other dogs. If your pup has shown any aggressive behavior in the past, this isn’t the right setting for them. For multi-night bookings, I start with a one-night trial stay (at the standard nightly rate). This gives us all a chance to get to know each other and helps ensure it’s a great fit before you’re away for a longer trip.
A typical day
A typical day has three walks and lots of yard time (weather permitting). We have a private creek area with a little beach for sniffing and wading. There's open space out my front door with lots of room for exploring. There's also a very comfy bed and couch, plush with fuzzy blankets and soft pillows for the coziest naps and cuddles.

Pet care experience
Dogs have been part of my life since I was a kid. I regularly watch my sister’s dog and two friends’ pups, so I’m very comfortable with various food routines, walks, and keeping dogs happy while their people are away.
Reviews

Rachel is not only an extraordinary pet sitter, but she is an extraordinary person. Kind and delightful. She was wonderful with Buddha Bear and sent us lots of "Pupdates" of their walks, feeding, and hanging out in the yard. I know Bear had a great time. It was a bit challenging for us because we moved to the area less than two weeks ago, so we know our dog may be a little anxious at the moment with the move and everything that comes with it. Rachael was so patient with him, and he stayed with her while she was working. I couldn't speak more highly of her. I know Buddha Bear really loved her.
Rachel is always my first choice when I need someone to watch my boy. She truly cares about the well-being of all pets and goes above and beyond to give them an engaging and fun atmosphere. You can tell right away that Rachel loves dogs. My dog loves her, and I'm sure yours will too.
I can’t recommend Rachel highly enough as a dog sitter on Rover. She has watched my dog, Mo, on many separate occasions, and there is truly no one I trust more to care for him while I’m away. Rachel always puts Mo’s well-being and happiness first, and it shows in everything she does. I consistently receive thoughtful updates, photos, and messages that give me complete peace of mind. Beyond simply “watching” dogs, Rachel is an exceptional person—reliable, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. She cares for Mo as if he were her own, and that level of responsibility and kindness makes all the difference. Any dog would be lucky to be in her care.
Rachel is truly exceptional. She watched my dog for a few weeks, and honestly, I nearly asked her to keep my dog because she was living such an enriched, joyful life in Rachel’s care. Rachel took her on daily walks, played fetch with her regularly, and even introduced thoughtful training techniques that made a noticeable difference. It wasn’t just “pet sitting,” it was attentive, engaged, and loving care.
