Outdoorsy animal lover!
Hi! I’m a passionate animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I have been on Rover for several years and am starting up my business again. I LOVE being outdoors and am always happy to take dogs on walks, to the park, or even spend time by the lake. I have a 6-year-old chihuahua mix named Ghost, who I fostered before adopting. I completely understand how to support dogs who may be a little “sassy” and just need extra patience and love...because trust me, chihuahua's have BIG personalities! Ghost also has Addison’s Disease, which has given me several years of experience managing daily medications and have been trained by my veterinarian on how to administer his monthly injections. I’m confident and comfortable caring for pets with medical or special needs. I’m also a volunteer with Happy Tails (Ontario County Humane Society), where I continue to deepen my commitment to animal care. In addition to dogs, I have a cat of my own and am happy to care for cats too, whether that’s feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, or just providing plenty of snuggles. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority!

I will follow whatever instructions you provide. Does your pup need a walk? Does he/she need to play fetch in the backyard? Or does he/she just need cuddles? I’m happy to provide multiple levels of care because I care about your pup!

Rachel was great with my 8mo puppy and 20 yo cat. In preparation for my trip, she visited and asked all the appropriate questions. While I was gone, She gave me daily updates and sent pics. Her TLC made me feel better about leaving my fur babies. Definitely recommend and will also use her again (already booked!)
Rachel is trust-worthy, caring, communicative and an an all around good person. She gives me daily updates and I love recieving pictures of my sweet angel. She responds to questions quickly. Really great experience with her. Will def book again!

I highly recommend Rachel!! She's friendly, caring, and very easy to work with. She will definitely go the extra mile when house-sitting. She keeps things clean and tidy, as well as feeding, walking, playing and spending time with the dogs. Don't think twice before booking her!
