Experienced dog-sitter who loves pets
In addition to experience with family pets including a Giant Schnauzer, for many years I have looked after dogs for friends, some of whom have health or behavioural issues. I can be relied upon to care for the pet's needs whatever they may be, and to keep calm, prevent and deal with any issue that could arise. I have participated in training some stubborn dogs, and some who were rescues. Ultimately, I really love being around animals, and having a dog to care for really enriches my life!

Rachel was absolutely terrific! She was very sweet and and cared about my dogs needs. My dog Ragge got along with her very well. She came on time, and I really can’t tell any negative feedback, she was just amazing sitting my dog at my place! Highly recommend Rachel!

We have booked Rachel repeatedly for sitting our dog, Nyako, both in her and in our home during the past 6 months, and it has been a great experience. Our dog has various physical and behavioral challenges, which Rachel deals with beautifully thanks to her considerate, skillful and dedicated care for dogs. She has an amazing calming presence and body language, so that our anxious dog immediately enjoyed staying with her. Rachels home is a bonus point, which offers a beautiful environment even for sensitive dogs. We highly recommend Rachel!

Programa
I am currently home all the time except for occasional errands. I do some studies from home but am on a break, so I have a lot of time for your dog. There are many lovely walks right outside the door which we can go on multiple times a day, or do a longer loop around the lake.

I live in a small house with my partner with an unfenced garden. Pets are allowed on furniture if that's what you prefer. I can take them outside whenever they need to go and I always make sure to make time for play and cuddles. It fits in well to my routine to have dogs to look after. Sometimes I will drive to a nature reserve or nice hiking area with them for a long walk.
Un día normal
Walks, play inside or outside, slow walks so they can sniff lots. I love to take them swimming if they are up for it! I can make lick-mats for those who get bored easily and need something to do. We do what your dog prefers - if they have a lot of energy and want to spend an hour on a fast walk we do that - if they are nervous and don't like to be near people I can leave them alone to get comfortable - if they need lots of cuddles they can sit next to me all day. If they like other dogs they can walk and play with my neighbour's labradors!

- I can deal with dogs who have special requirements but just need to know all about them so I can care for them properly - if they are not good with people or other dogs - if they need socialization daily - if they are reactive -just let me know and we can figure it out. I usually need to do individual pricing for dogs with reactivity, behavioural difficulties or those who will take a lot more of my time - it’s important for me to be able to figure out and meet all of their needs, so I need to be able to afford the time to do so.
