Safety, trust & environment
Your dog/dogs will get 1-1 committed care with no other pets in my home or other dogs boarding with me. Although we live in a flat we have green areas right outside to take your dog out for the toilet. We also have beautiful walks nearby and I drive so can also take them to their favourite spot. With working from homeI’m in the flat 24/7 so your dog won’t be left at all and we have very little clutter for your dog won’t be able to chew on or eat anything! When caring for pets, we prioritise their safety by ensuring the environment is secure and pet-proofed. I will always offer to meet you and your dog/dogs in advance to get to know you both. I’ll follow your instructions closely, creating a routine that makes them feel comfortable and at ease. Building trust through regular communication with yourself and ensuring they feel loved and cared for is essential to me.

Information Rachael E. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to me to know about a your dog ahead of time to understand their unique needs, preferences and routines. Every pet has different temperaments, dietary restrictions or health concerns that need to be considered. By knowing these details, I can ensure they feel comfortable and secure while in my care. It also helps build trust between me, your dog and yourself, making sure I can provide the best experience possible for both your pet and family.
A typical day
A typical day caring for your dog starts with a morning walk to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. Afterward, we might play fetch or a tug-of-war game, depending on your dog’s energy level and what game they love to play. Throughout the day, I’ll provide enrichment activities like puzzle toys or training sessions to keep their mind engaged. I also make sure to schedule plenty of cuddle time and play to keep things fun. If the weather is nice, we might go on a little adventure, like a trip to their favourite park or the beach to explore. All depends on your dogs needs and favourite places to go!

Your dog will get 1-on-1 VIP treatment with me – no other dogs, just pure attention and cuddles! 🐾 I’ve looked after dogs since I was 6. I volunteer at The Dog and Cat Shelter and cared for my gorgeous border terrier Toby who lived until he was 17 years old.

Reviews

Rachael was absolutely amazing! She kindly met us beforehand, which was so reassuring with this being Daisy’s very first stay away from home. During Daisy’s 5‑day stay, Rachael sent us multiple pup‑dates and even a sweet birthday message. Daisy loved all the cuddles, playtime, and walks - so much so that I think she would have happily stayed even longer! We highly recommend Rachael and will certainly be booking with her again in the future. Thank you so much, Rachael! 🐾

Where do I even begin?! We have a very nervous sausage dog called Barry, and we needed to find someone trustworthy and reliable to look after him while we celebrated our wedding. From the moment we met Rachael, she put our mind at ease, coming to our house to meet Barry and then going above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable leaving him with her. Her home is beautiful, and she provided photos and messages throughout our wedding, letting us know that Barry was enjoying his staycation! We will 100% use Rachael’s services again, she is amazing!!

Rachael took good care of our dog and made them feel at home and comfortable taking her on nice walks and having loads of cuddles with her. Quick responses and cute photos too! Would recommend

This was our second time booking with Rachael who was absolutely amazing looking after our two Yorkshire Terriers, Milo and Toby, while we were on holiday. You can really tell how much she cared for them. She sent us daily messages and lovely photos, which gave us peace of mind. When she brought them home, they were running around looking for her as if they missed her already! We couldn’t have asked for better care and will book again for our next trip!
