Work from home with 30+ acres
I work from home and my wife is a teacher with the summers off. We live over 1,000 feet from the nearest (dirt) road and are surrounded by 100's of acres of fields and woods. We're very active and have both had dogs since a young age. We currently have a well trained, extremely friendly black lab of our own. We have two young boys, so it's a requirement that all dogs are 100% friendly and tolerant of kids. We're more looking for longer-term stays and relationships, not just people passing through for the weekend. There are lots of other great sitters on here for that though.

Uschi had a blast at Pete and Alex's place! She got to go for a run with Alex, play fetch with the kids, get sprayed with the hose, and hang out with their laid-back Lab, Hank. P&A's place seems best for confident, friendly dogs who are good with kids. Their property is large and has MANY interesting sniffs, but is not fenced, so good recall is helpful (and P&A absolutely respected our request not to let Uschi outside unsupervised). We're looking forward to booking some recurring daycare!
My 6 month old puppy had a blast. They took him for a hike, he had plenty of space to roam and be a dog. He was soooo happy. Highly recommend.
We had a very very last minute need for a dog sitter and we were so fortunate to find Pete and Alex. They communicated so well and were so pleasant and welcoming! Leo had the absolute best time and came home tired out!
Pete and Alex were so wonderful! They took great care of our 6-month-old puppy Juniper. She got lots of exercise with them and came home happy and tired! We would absolutely book with them again!
Pete and Alex were amazing!! Quick to respond, very accommodating and most important they were wonderful to our Lincoln. Their home and surrounding property was a dream for Lincoln to run around and play with their dog Hank. Lincoln also enjoyed hikes with Pete and Hank. We highly recommend and would definitely use Pete and Alex in the future. Thank you both again for taking such great care of Lincoln!

Schedule
I work from home, so am always available and actively looking after any pets that are staying with us. We already have a dog of our own, so adding one more is pretty seamless.

We are hands-on, loving and attentive to all dogs. Dogs will be in the house, relaxing, unless we are out on a hike or playing in the yard.

We live on a dirt road, so we take our dogs for runs, we hike out the back door, and we have a pond for hot summer days.
