Pet care experience
I have always loved animals, and have been taking care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. From tiny Chihuahuas to the great Bernese Mountain Dog, I am comfortable around all sizes and breeds. I am able to care for all ages, whether they are a newborn pup or a senior sweetie. Walks and play are my specialty, and feeding and bath time are no sweat!

I tend to let the pet decide what kind of relationship we have. If they want to play, then we will play! If they want to cuddle, I'm happy to do that. If they want to be left to their devices, I will just be a calming presence for them. I love going on walks both long and short; whatever is best for your pup! I have experience crate training and teaching tricks, and we can discuss what that might entail in our communications leading up to your booking. I have experience with behavioural issues, and while I cannot claim to be a miracle worker, I can assure you that your furry family member will be as comfortable as possible with me. I am passionate about building bonds and gaining trust, and we will take it at your pet's pace.

Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any behavioural issues, problems encountering other animals, triggers, dietary restrictions, medication requirements, allergies, or special potty time requirements. I prefer to work with pets that have a nonviolent history, but through communication and proper precaution we can come up with solutions together.
A typical day
On a typical day, I would begin with a short potty break and then feeding (unless your pet's feeding schedule is different). After this, a walk is in order! Once home, it would be different depending on the day; we could play together, learn some tricks, train, or even just relax! Depending on the feeding schedule there could be a second walk or time outside according to your preference. I will always tailor the day to your animal's specific needs!

I have a job with some wacky hours, and am in online school. If I am house sitting for you, we can discuss any of my shifts that fall during your time away, though they are typically short. I have always had pets, and now that I have none, I would love to share that time with your furry friends! I am happy to spend my spare time caring for your pets and ensuring they aren't lonely in your absence. Your pets will be my priority!
