Trusted Family Luxury Pet Care

Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always the first person neighbors would call when they needed someone to watch, walk, or care for their dogs. That early love for animals quickly became a lifelong passion. Today, my wife and I are proud dog parents to two amazing dogs who are truly part of our family. We treat them like our kids and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets when you’re away. In addition to caring for our own dogs, my wife and I have spent the last five years fostering dogs through local shelters. This experience has given us the opportunity to work with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. From energetic puppies who need patience and structure to senior dogs who require extra attention and gentle care, we’ve learned how to make each dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My background in hospitality has also taught me the importance of communication, reliability, and exceptional service. When your pet is in my care, you can expect regular updates, plenty of photos, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing they’re being treated like family. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members!

When I found out Payton and his wife were starting Rover, I was honestly so excited. We actually adopted our pup from them after they fostered him through a local rescue, so I’ve seen firsthand how much they care about animals. They’ve opened their home to so many rescue dogs over the years, and it’s clear that caring for animals isn’t just something they do, it’s who they are. My husband is a firefighter and I travel quite a bit for work, so finding someone I completely trust with our dog is a big deal. Whenever my husband is on shift and I’m out of town, Payton and his wife are the only people I want watching our pup. They treat him like one of their own, keep us updated with photos and messages, and make being away so much easier. I never have to worry because I know he’s getting just as much love and attention there as he does at home. ❤️🐾

BEST DOG SITTER EVER! It's hard to find reliable pet sitters, especially during the holidays. We had a last-minute cancellation, and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we found Payton. He is absolutely amazing. We've become regular clients and honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with our dogs.

I have an English Bulldog who requires daily medication and a little extra attention, and I never have to worry when he's in Payton's care. He and his wife are incredibly attentive and always make sure he gets everything he needs. One of my favorite things is the daily photos and videos they send, along with updates on how he's doing. It gives me complete peace of mind while I'm away. They truly treat my bulldog like family, even letting him sleep in the room with them (which he absolutely loves!). Knowing my dog is safe, happy, and loved makes all the difference. I couldn't recommend Payton and his wife more highly!!!

I met Payton and his wife while they were volunteering as animal fosters for A Home 4 Spot. From the moment I met them, it was clear how much they love and care for animals. They have opened their home to countless rescue and neglected animals, and they are truly amazing people. When Payton started Rover, I was so excited because I already knew the level of care and dedication he brings to every animal he meets. I don't trust anyone else with my babies. Their two dogs are wonderful with other animals, and my pups always come home happy, well cared for, and completely tired from all the fun. I can't recommend Payton and his wife enough. 10/10!

Safety, trust & environment

The safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet is my top priority. Through five years of fostering dogs with local shelters, I've learned that every dog has unique needs, routines, and personalities. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or yours, I take the time to understand their schedule, feeding routine, exercise needs, medications, and any behavioral considerations. I believe consistency helps pets feel secure, so I do my best to maintain the routine they're accustomed to. In my home, pets are treated like family and are always supervised in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. I carefully monitor introductions with other dogs and ensure each pet has plenty of space, attention, exercise, and affection. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the home and the pets with the utmost respect. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so owners can have complete peace of mind while they're away. As a dog owner myself, I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving their owners confidence that they're in good hands.

A typical day

I truly treat every dog like they’re part of the family. My wife and I have been fostering dogs through local shelters for years, and we have two dogs of our own who are spoiled with love, attention, and plenty of adventures. When your dog is with me, they won’t just be watched, they’ll be cared for the same way I care for my own. Depending on their personality, we’ll enjoy walks, playtime, fetch, belly rubs, enrichment games, or simply relaxing together. Some dogs want to run and explore, while others just want a comfortable spot next to someone who makes them feel safe. I’m happy to provide both. My goal is for your dog to feel loved, comfortable, and excited every time they see me. I know how much trust it takes to leave your best friend with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. I want you to have peace of mind knowing your pup is getting plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care while you’re away.

Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their personality, routine, and what makes them feel most comfortable. I want their time with me to feel like a home away from home. It is especially helpful to know their feeding schedule, favorite activities, any medications, allergies, fears, or triggers, and how they interact with other dogs and people. I also love hearing what they enjoy most, whether that is long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply being close to someone. Every dog is unique, and the more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, loving, and stress free experience for both you and your pet. My goal is for every dog to feel welcomed, cared for, and loved from the moment they arrive.
