Before caring for a pet, I like to understand their unique personality and routine. -> Personality traits – Are they shy, playful, calm, or energetic? -> Social preferences – Do they like other dogs, people, or prefer quiet time? -> Likes and dislikes – Favourite toys, treats, activities, or things to avoid -> Walking style – Are they confident on the lead or more nervous? Favourite lead? -> Routine – Usual meal times, toilet habits, sleeping arrangements -> Medical needs – Any allergies, medications or health conditions? -> Special behaviours – Any habits, quirks, or triggers I should know about? -> Comfort items – Do they have a blanket, toy, or routine that helps them settle?

It all depends on the pet’s personality, energy level and their likes. For energetic dogs, I love going on long walks in nearby parks (I also drive so can got further) or exploring new routes together. If they enjoy playtime, we’ll have fun with games like fetch or tug-of-war or learn a few simple tricks if they’re up for it. For more relaxed or older pets we love a snuggle and a short local walk and sniff around the garden, And of course, there are always plenty of belly rubs and scratches! I also do talk to animals a lot! They seem to listen better than teenagers:) Whatever we do, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy and loved.
