I have had many dogs in my life. 6 different Rotties, 3 chocolate labs, 1 Blue heeler, 1 Chesapeake Bay retriever, and many others. All except a couple were rescued dogs. I majored in Animal Science in college. I worked in a vet's office when I was younger. I only have 1 dog now, an 11 year old female pit bull named Lupe, who we rescued when she was 4 yrs old. She, unfortunately, does not get along with too many other dogs and cats. I have retired from full time employment and mainly volunteer with different organizations in the area. I am fairly free to take care of other dogs and animals. No fenced yard and my female dog is not friendly with all dogs, so I cannot house animals in my home unless they get along.
