Pet care experience
Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've cared for cats, dogs, birds, rats, and many more. I currently own a 5 year old cat, Benjamin, and I previously had a cat for 10 years. I've also had the joy of owning a dachshund and a pit bull in the past. I am certified in first aid for both dogs and cats, which helps me be prepared for adverse situations. I've cared for dogs belonging to friends and family, including two summer-long jobs where I was responsible for daily feeding, walking, and affection. I take on a calm and nurturing approach when caring for animals, always making time for play and resting. I know how deeply people love their pets, and I treat every one of them as if they were my own, because that’s exactly the kind of care I’d want for my own pets.

Paige was a great sitter for my two cats (with special feeding needs). She met with me ahead of my week away and met the cats and got all of the instructions. When I was gone, she left messages and photos every day so I'd know they were being cared for. She's very punctual and on schedule, plus is always positive and cheerful, in person and in communication about the cats. A+++
Paige dropped in and took our dog for a walk a couple of times and was great. She’s very attentive and communicative and I knew our dog was being looked after well. I would happily book her again.
I was so happy that Paige was available to look after my cat Tully while I was out of town! She's a great communicator, she sent lots of pictures and updates. Tully was happy and healthy when I got home, highly recommend!

In clients' homes, I respect the space fully and aim to keep everything consistent so pets feel safe while their owner is away. I maintain a clean and peaceful environment, keeping doors and gates secure at all times, and never leaving pets unattended outside.

I’d also love to know how they do around other animals, their comfort level around strangers and loud noises, and if they have any specific fears or things that help them feel safe and comfortable.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes a mix of playtime, exercise, and affection/downtime. Depending on your pets interests and energy levels, I will tailor the activities to match. That could include long walks, playing fetch, playing with toys, or just sunbathing and getting some good pets in!

Availability
I am currently in school part-time, giving me plenty of time to spend with your pets. I am available weekends and weekdays, excluding Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-3 pm.
