Visits are planned thoughtfully to ensure reliable and consistent care. Advance notice is appreciated, as same-day requests are generally unavailable. This allows us to review your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, walking preferences, and any specific instructions to ensure consistent, reliable care. For safety and comfort, I’m unable to accept dogs with a bite history, aggressive tendencies, or dogs that are not comfortable around children. My goal is to provide a calm, attentive, and loving environment where pets feel secure and truly loved, and owners feel confident leaving them in my care.

Before we begin, I like to understand your pet’s normal routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible. It’s helpful to know feeding times, bathroom schedule, play preferences, any quirks or fears, and how long they’re typically comfortable being alone. If your pet has any medical needs or special instructions, I’m happy to go over those as well. The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and more comfortable the experience will be for your pet.

Every visit looks a little different depending on your pet. Some dogs enjoy a nice walk around the neighborhood, some love playing fetch in the yard, and some are happiest with extra attention and belly rubs. I enjoy getting to know what makes each pet feel happy and comfortable. For cats and smaller pets, visits can include playtime, brushing (if they like it), feeding, litter care, and simply spending quiet time together. Some pets are playful, some are more laid back — I’m happy to give them the kind of time they enjoy most. My goal is always for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and truly loved while you’re away.

Hi, I’m Paige. I’m 39 years old and a homeschooling mom of two (ages 11 and 9). My children may accompany me on visits, but I am solely responsible for all pet care and supervision. We currently have two cats, a hamster, and a dog named Ted. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my daily life. My family also helps a local farm feed and care for their animals on a monthly basis — it’s something we genuinely look forward to and enjoy being part of. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust when you’re away. Whether it’s a drop-in visit, a walk, or extra attention while you’re gone, I treat every pet with the same care and thoughtfulness I give my own. I grew up in the country surrounded by animals. Over the years, I’ve helped care for cattle, horses, goats, buffalo, dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and even sugar gliders. Animals have always been part of my life, and their well-being has always been a priority. Puppies are welcome and will receive patient, attentive, and loving care. Medication Experience I am comfortable administering oral medications, eye ointments, and injections. I have experience caring for a diabetic cat and understand the importance of consistency and attentiveness when managing medical needs.
