Originally from Turkey, I spent a decade sharing my life with two amazing canine companions: a lovable Bernese Mountain Dog and an adorable Maltipoo. They brought immense joy and happiness to my life until I lost them. Previously, I worked as a construction engineer in New York City, but my deep love for animals led me to make a career change. I realized that my true calling was to dedicate myself entirely to the well-being and happiness of dogs. So, I decided to follow my heart and pursue a career as a dog sitter. With my background in engineering, I am incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for your furry friends. I understand the importance of regular exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization for dogs, and I am here to offer just that. A+ experience!! I've used many Rover sitters over the years and have, fortunately, only had good experiences, as I always look for sitters who have numerous glowing reviews. Even so, I've observed that there's a vast difference in dog skills/familiarity among sitters, as well as service levels in terms of frequency of updates, etc. Onur is easily one of the BEST sitters I've had on every dimension!!! My mini dachshund Einstein is terrible with new people and I prepared for the worst, but Onur and his wife made Einstein comfortable in their home almost instantaneously, which is almost unheard of! If you have an anxious dog, seriously look no further... this is your guy! He also sent tons of pictures and updates throughout the day, which is super important to me. I never had to wonder how Einstein was doing (as I have with others at times) because so many updates kept coming without any prompting. Amazing!
I can’t recommend Onur enough! I boarded my dog Finn with him while I was traveling for 10 days, and the whole experience was incredibly smooth and reassuring. Even though I wasn’t always able to respond, Onur consistently sent thoughtful updates with adorable photos and texts, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I picked Finn up, he looked perfect—clean, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I’ve had other sitters return him looking like he’d been roughing it a bit, but not with Onur! Finn was super happy, ate all his food (which he never does when stressed, he’s also a picky poodle) and got plenty of walks and attention. Onur was extremely communicative, responsible, and clearly passionate about what he does. You can tell he genuinely loves dogs and treats them like his own. I’ll definitely be booking again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for exceptional dog care!
Pierogi is an extremely anxious girl and Onur was great with her!! We got lots of pictures throughout the week and it was clear that Pierogi was well taken care of! Thank you!!
Onur was wonderful with Ziggy, sending us plenty of photos and videos throughout the day and checking in often to let us know how he was doing. Onur and Ekin are true dog lovers, and I wouldn't hesitate to trust them with my pets again!

It's all about providing them with an enjoyable time filled with adventure and happiness!
