Registered Veterinary Technician
I am a registered veterinary technician who works at an emergency clinic. I have been working with animals my whole life. I have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years, providing them with training and helping them find their forever homes once they are ready. I have recently started boarding dogs at my house as I moved to a farm and had the land and space to run them and give them everything they need. I would offer additional services with my boarding if the client would like, these services would included training, nail trims, ear cleanings, etc.

I cannot recommend Olivia enough! She goes above and beyond your pet’s basic needs to treat them like one of her own. When my dog stayed for the weekend she took her on numerous dog walks in the forest to ensure she had lots of mental and physical stimulation. My dog Gemma is nervous with new people but with Olivia’s experience with all types of dog personalities and behaviours it was only a short time before Gemma was showing her normal cuddly nature. Highly recommend!
Olivia is THE BEST dog sitter I have ever experienced. She is so knowledgeable and patient and has a veterinary background, which provides a sense of ease that my dog is in good hands. I have a very high energy breed, and I can tell he gets plenty of exercise and play time with Olivia. She also is a very skilled trainer and helped work on my dogs recall and sent me home with tips to continue his progress! Would highly recommend!
Olivia has a way with dogs and all animals. She understands their requirements and what they need in order to be happy. I have had the privilege of watching Olivia grow up as I was her neighbor and she would walk our dogs and stay at our house for us when she was in high school to earn extra money. We always trusted her with our pets as we knew that she would always put their needs before her own.
Olivia is a fantastic and responsible pet sitter. We received tons of photos and updates. He was treated as one of the family. Our pup was so happy during his stay and so tired afterwards from all the playing. We trusted her completely with taking care of him and would not hesitate to recommend her!
Olivia is a great pet sitter. I have travelled a few times and left my two doggos with her and she has taken above and beyond measures to care for them, to the point that one of them didn’t get too excited to come home with me after! Olivia loves pets as if they are her own, she is very knowledgable in training as well as health aspects which makes her the best. I am able to relax and enjoy my time away because I know I don’t have to worry about my babies when they are with her. Absolutely recommended!

Schedule
I have two high energy dogs who need a lot of time running off leash per day. I am always taking them in the bush, on the trails, on hikes or on bike rides to tire them out. The best suited dog to board with me would be one that is successful off leash with recall, as we spend 2 hours per day off leash in the bush as well as off leash time in my yard. I live on 5 acres so there is many opportunity to run and play.

My dogs are very good with new dogs coming into our home as they are use to me bringing home new fosters very often. Both of them are crate trained, place trained and e collar trained and are very respectful of other dogs space. They like to wrestle and play when the time is right, and know when it is time to rest. My dogs know that outside is play time, and when we are inside that is their time to rest either on their beds or in their crates.
Pets
A typical day
I will take the animals boarding with me to many different off leash trails to let them run and explore. If the animal boarding with me is senior and does not have as high energy as my dogs, then they will not attend the long walks I will take them on shorter walks to fit their speed. I enjoy agility and training with new dogs that come to my house.
