Pet care experience
My love for animals has always gone hand-in-hand with educated, engaging pet care. This dates back to writing my own blog posts about different dog breeds at only 9 years old! Throughout my life, I have had consistent experience owning and pet sitting small to medium sized dogs, ranging from puppies to seniors. Additionally, I have 12+ years of equestrian experience. Between dog and horse care, I am comfortable working around nervous animals. For the last 2 years, I have gained experience in caring for cats varying in size, needs, and personalities. Now, I have kittens at home, a bonded pair of brothers, that we rescued from a storm drain in a fast food parking lot!

Olivia has been riding and caring for one of my horses for many years. My horse wants for absolutely nothing. She is kind, patient, trustworthy and loving. I have complete confidence in her ability to care for my horse as well as other animals.
I could not more highly recommend someone to watch our fur babies than Olivia! She will love and care for them as if they were her own. Her attention to detail and care goes well beyond what our expectations were and we cannot wait to use her again!
When I first adopted my cat Luna, I was really worried about having to leave her alone when I would visit family out of state. Olivia made me feel SO much better about leaving my pride and joy behind, ensuring that I was sent many pics and videos of her so I felt included. Luna has FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) and Olivia was very professional and dependable when handling her, always giving her the attention and care she requires. Olivia’s passion and love for animals is clear, and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone worried about leaving their cat/dog behind while they travel to go to her for help.

I am familiar working with animals that have anxiety or are generally nervous around strangers; therefore, I keep my body language and movement in mind and stay talkative to ease your pet's stress. I understand many pet owners have cameras, and I am happy to work in those environments as well. Additionally, I am beyond happy to send as many pictures, videos, or updates as desired. I have repeatedly been trusted with keys or lock codes, and am happy to work with you based on your comfort levels!

I would prefer working with small dogs or cats of any size! For either animal, please let me know if I should expect their nails to be trimmed or not. Additionally, please let me know of any special needs! If booking for dog walking, please let me know if there are any triggers for your dog (cars, people, other animals), and any other leash/harness information.
A typical day
With dogs, I like to get outside for walks or yard time, but each dog is different! Whether it is playing fetch, tug-toy, filling treat toys, or setting up puzzle games for busy minds - I am happy to meet your dogs needs! With cats, I love providing an enriching lifestyle where each day has excitement! This can include wand toys, balls, puzzles, treat feeders, electronic toys, or more.

I have a flexible, telework schedule that makes me uniquely available to accommodate your pet needs! If desired for me to stay for an extended period of time throughout the day, I am happy to bring my laptop to work in between keeping your pets entertained.
