Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy making time for in my daily routine. I work full time during the weekdays, but I’m available after 5 PM for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they need. On weekends, I have open availability and can dedicate even more time to caring for pets and sticking to their normal routines. Since I’m already a pet owner myself, caring for animals is naturally part of my everyday life. I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away, and I always strive to provide reliable care, communication, and plenty of affection.

In my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and sticking closely to their normal routine. I make sure they are fed on schedule, always have fresh water, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection based on their personality and energy level. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and follow all instructions exactly as given, including feeding routines, litter box or potty breaks, medication needs, and any specific care preferences. I also make sure to keep things clean and tidy, and I always double-check doors, gates, and anything needed to keep pets secure. I understand that every pet is different, so I take time to learn their behavior, comfort level, and routine so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel reassured and connected while they’re gone.

Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their routine, personality, and individual needs. I think it’s important to know their feeding schedule, exercise requirements, favorite activities, and any medications or health concerns they may have. I also like to understand their temperament, including how they interact with new people, other animals, and unfamiliar situations. Knowing about any fears, anxieties, triggers, or behavioral quirks helps me provide the best possible care and keep them comfortable. For dogs, I’d like to know about leash manners, recall, and any special walking instructions. For cats, I’d like to know their favorite hiding spots, play preferences, and any grooming needs.
A typical day
I love keeping pets engaged, happy, and active while their owners are away! Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, activities may include walks, playtime with their favorite toys, games of fetch, tug-of-war, enrichment activities, and plenty of one-on-one attention. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with wand toys, balls, and other toys that encourage exercise and mental stimulation. I also make time for brushing, cuddles, and lap time for pets that enjoy affection. Most importantly, I tailor activities to each pet’s needs and comfort level. Some pets love lots of play and adventure, while others prefer relaxing companionship and gentle attention. My goal is to make sure every pet feels happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Hi! My name is Olivia, and I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I’ve had dogs since I was 14 years old and have spent years helping care for my own pets as well as family pets. In addition to dogs, I currently care for my own cats and have experience looking after a coworker’s two long-haired cats and a friend’s two cats while they were away. I offer drop-in visits, pet sitting, feeding, fresh water refills, playtime, walks, litter box cleaning, companionship, and plenty of love and attention. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, so I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet loves to play, go for walks, cuddle, or simply have a calm companion nearby, I’m happy to accommodate their needs. I work full-time during the weekdays, but I am available after 5:00 PM for visits, walks, and pet care. On weekends, I have open availability and can dedicate more time to caring for your pets.
