I work part-time as a Medical Assistant on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This leaves my week perfectly open for pet care. I am available all day Mondays, Fridays, and weekends for dedicated house sitting, long walks, and fun adventures. On my work days (Tue/Wed/Thu), I can still accommodate early morning or evening drop-ins and potty breaks. Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my life because it is truly my favorite way to spend my free time!

Sobre Olivia D.
Seguridad, confianza y entorno
Safety and trust are my top priorities. Since I do not offer boarding in my own home, my entire focus is on keeping your pet safe and happy in their own familiar environment. In Your Home: I strictly follow your routines for feeding, medication, and potty breaks. My medical background makes me hyper-vigilant about safety. I always scan for hazards, ensure doors are secure, and monitor your pet's health and energy. And, you will get plenty of photo updates!! On Walks: I use secure leashes and stay alert to our surroundings to avoid unpredictable interactions with other dogs or traffic. Multi-Pet Care: My experience managing up to 6 dogs at once ensures I can keep a calm, structured, and peaceful environment for households with multiple pets.

Health and Safety: 1. Does your pet have any medical conditions, allergies, or sensitivities I should watch out for? 2. Where do you keep your pet first-aid kit, and what is your preferred emergency vet clinic and their phone number? 3. How does your dog handle the Texas heat? Do they have a specific limit on walk times when it gets hot? Behavioral Questions: 4. How does your dog react when they see other dogs, cats, or squirrels while on a leash? 5. Are they prone to resource guarding (getting protective over food, toys, or bones)? 6. Do they have any specific fears or triggers, like thunder, fireworks, or loud trucks? Logistics Questions: 7. Is there any part of the house or furniture that is strictly off-limits for them? 8. What is their exact feeding routine, and are they allowed to have any human food or specific treats?

A typical day with me focuses on safety, structure, and fun! Morning: Wake up, fresh water, and breakfast followed by an early morning walk or backyard playtime before the Texas heat sets in. Mid-Day: If it is a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, I head to my medical assistant job for a few hours. On my days off, this time is filled with enrichment games, puzzle toys, and plenty of companionship. Afternoon: A quick potty break and a frozen treat or chew to keep them occupied, followed by a nice afternoon nap. Evening: Dinner time, followed by a cooler evening walk around the neighborhood. Night: Lots of winding-down cuddles on the couch and bedtime at their usual hour. Some other fun activities I love to do: Austin-Friendly Sniffaris: Long walks where the dog gets to lead with their nose. Sniffing actually burns more mental energy than running! Pup-sicles & Frozen Treats: Making dog-safe ice treats (like frozen low-sodium broth or peanut butter in a Kong) to keep them cool during hot Austin afternoons. Brain Games: Mental stimulation like hide-and-seek with treats or basic trick practice. Photo Shoots: Taking high-quality, cute update photos of their pets lounging or playing. Dedicated Cuddle Time: Quality couch time, belly rubs, and brushing for senior dogs or cats who prefer affection over exercise.

Treating your dog like family! 💕
Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
Animals are my absolute passion!! I am the person who cries during movies whenever an animal is on screen; because I love them so deeply. I grew up raising dogs from puppyhood into their senior years, and I even cared for a flock of chickens for four years. I have a big family with many siblings, so I am used to taking care of everyone’s dogs! Because of these things, I am deeply in tune with animal behaviors and body language. Professionally, I work part-time as a Medical Assistant. This background means I am naturally detail-oriented, calm in emergencies, and highly observant. I have extensive experience sitting many different breeds, including managing up to 6 dogs at once in one house. Whether your pup is a high-energy puppy or a sweet senior needing gentle care, they will be safe and loved with me!

Liv walked and took care of my dog, Milo, for my family while we were on vacation for a week and a half. She was always attentive, responsible, flexible, on-time, and caring! She always knew when to take initiative but also when to check in with us. She was always responsible and we were always assured Milo was in good hands! 🤗
Olivia is an incredible, responsible and caring person. She is very hard working and will make sure that your animals are in the absolute best care. There is no way you can go wrong by hiring her!
