Hi, I'm Olivia! 👋 I've been part of the Rover community for over four years now, and I genuinely couldn't be more grateful for all of the wonderful pets and owners I've met along the way. Many of my clients have become regulars, and building long-term relationships with both pets and their owners is one of my favourite parts of pet sitting. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Whether I'm caring for a playful puppy, a senior dog who enjoys a slower pace, an independent cat, or an energetic breed that loves long walks, I always adapt my care to each pet's personality and routine. My aim is for them to feel as comfortable and relaxed with me as they do with you. Alongside Rover, I work at the Southampton cruise terminals, assisting international passengers and cruise operations. It's a role that has strengthened my organisation, communication, and reliability, while also giving me the flexibility to continue doing something I absolutely love—looking after animals. Travelling is my biggest passion, and I've been fortunate enough to visit more than 25 countries across North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. During my travels, I've had the opportunity to care for pets, house sit, and spend time around all kinds of animals. While living in the USA, I looked after a dog and cat for two weeks, and throughout my travels I've found that animals always seem to gravitate towards me—especially cats! One of my favourite memories was completing my PADI Open Water scuba diving qualification in the Philippines, followed by diving on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Those experiences inspired me to one day volunteer in marine conservation. When I'm looking after your pet, I take the time to get to know them properly. Every animal has their own personality, likes, dislikes, and routine, and I never rush that process. Whether they want endless cuddles, exciting walks, playtime in the garden, or simply someone to quietly keep them company, I'll always follow their lead. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, so I'll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, giving you peace of mind while you're away. I treat every pet as though they were my own, and I can't wait to meet your furry family member! 🐾

I always triple check everything is off and safe before leaving the owners house. I also always check the preferences with the owner with what they require and how things run in their household and keep things running the same as they would :).

Olivia did a drop in visit for my cat Jelibeans and sent loads of lovely photos. She was very thorough and Jelibeans was clearly happy and comfortable.
Olivia was great - very professional and helpful in her communication with us, and great with our dog. I felt very reassured leaving him to be looked after by her for the night.

Programa
I work a very flexible job at the cruise terminals and so I am able to commit to taking care of your pets during the day, overnight or walking them with a broad availability. In most cases I can try to move my work around if it is a last minute request but this is situational and gladly open to conversations to discuss :)
