With a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Sydney and nearly a year of experience as an official veterinarian in Australia, your furry friends couldn't be in better hands. I also hold a Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. Having recently moved back to the States to be closer to family, I'm now preparing for the NAVLE exam to practice veterinary medicine in the U.S. Meanwhile, I'm excited to provide loving and professional care for your pets. Nilka is one great person AND pet sitter! I contacted Nilka after another pet sitter canceled my reservation at last minute. Nilka was gracious enough to do a meet and greet same day I contacted her. Nilka is very communicative and shows her love for the pets. I appreciate the fact that she was in constant communication with me and was sending pics during the stay. Nilka is bilingual, which is a plus because my dogs are also bilingual. I recommend Nilka and I will be using her services in the future.
Nilka was amazing with princess. She was able to have us drop her off within two days of our trip and worked with us after our trip was delayed. She was very open with communication, sent photos and videos and gave us info on our dog’s health that we may have not noticed. Again Nilka was great and we would definitely use her again.
Nilka was exceptionally great and appreciated for all the extra care and concern that she showed our pet while we were away on business. She took the extra time and effort to go grocery shopping for fresh ingredients to feed our dog that was showing signs of stomach distress. She prepared and cooked fresh meals for our dog. I would highly recommend Nilka for anybody’s pets as she will be the one that we use from here on out. She also has a veterinarian background which makes her even more exceptional.

Training and Learning: For pets that enjoy mental stimulation, I incorporate basic training exercises or puzzle toys. Socialization: If the pet enjoys social interaction, I could arrange for playdates with other friendly pets or spend extra time engaging with them. Evening Relaxation: Ending the day with another walk and later a relaxing activity, like a gentle brushing session, cuddles, etc.
