I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life. My entire family has dogs and I always spent a lot of time with my family’s dogs growing up. Always looking forward to visiting, playing with them, taking them on walks and helping care for them. Whenever family members needed help or had to travel, I was often the one taking care of their dogs and making sure they felt comfortable, safe and loved. At the moment I don't have a dog myself, which can be an advantage for dogs that prefer being the only pet or are not comfortable around other dogs. I love dogs very much, but because I travel during some months of the year, I feel it’s more responsible not to own one right now rather than regularly putting a dog through airplane travel. This also allows me to give my full attention and care to the dogs I’m sitting.
