Hi! My name is Nikki Kalani and I’m a Native Hawaiian MD/MPP student and loving pet owner. I was raised with lots of dogs and cats, and I love caring for animals. I have experience with pets of all sizes and energy levels, and I love meeting new pets! I am available for house sitting and have experience watching both dogs and cats overnight. I can be easily reached via text if you have any last minute requests. I am looking forward to meeting you and your beloved pet!

Nikki was great with my older dog. She is very reliable and sent me pictures and updates. She is wonderful.
Nikki watched our dog for 2 nights and was absolutely amazing! She was very communicative, sent us a bunch of updates throughout the day and also took our dog on long walks! We will definitely use Nikki in the future!
Nikki stayed at our house and watched our dog for 3 nights and was absolutely amazing. She was very communicative and sent pictures of our pup daily. She also took him on plenty of walks! Nikki was also really flexible and a life saver when our flight was delayed getting back and stayed an additional evening. I will be definitely be calling upon Nikki again to watch Cairo!

Nikki is such a sweetheart! She made rocky and I feel extremely comfortable with leaving her overnight after having surgery. Nikki was so reliable texting me when his medicine was taken as well as when his meals were given with cute photos! I’d trust her with my life after helping save my pups life! 1000% recommend & will be rebooking for future going away trips!
Nikki loves animals and has done a wonderful job taking care of our dog Bella. Bella loves her and loves to go on walks or even hikes with Nikki. Nikki has great instincts and can sense when an animal needs something. When Bella would get tired on walks, Nikki would take her on a shortcut home. Nikki is kind, caring and responsible, and I would trust her with any of my pets!

I work in-person full-time (typical 9am-5pm weekday schedule) but am available to fully attend to your pets before and after work, and weekends. Outside of work, I am a home body and enjoy spending time with pets.

I can very easily adapt to different home environments and different pet needs. I am very clean and detail-oriented, and will leave a home exactly how I found it. I understand each pet has their routine and I try my best to keep that routine while you are away.

With dogs, I go on runs, long walks, or play fetch. With cats, I love curling up on the couch with a nice book, or playing indoors with their fishing toys.
