Safety, trust & environment
I have owned and cared for cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and even a squirrel! This includes spending quality time, walking, feeding, watering, bathing, vet visits, etc. I will treat your pet with as much respect, care, and love as I do my own. In addition, I’ve worked on crate, entertaining, and obedience training. While I love my pets dearly there is a hard line when their behavior can be reckless and possibly dangerous, I keep a close eye to make sure they are safe, healthy, and happy.

Information Nikita S. would like to know about your pet
- reactive (dogs, people, men/women in particular, other animals) - skiddish/fearful (loud noises, fast movements, people, dogs, other animals) - Are the a bolter? Do they have a habit of running out the door? - Do they resource guard? (Protective of food, bed, toys) - Anything your pet particularly likes that would make them happy? Anything your pet particularly dislikes so that I can avoid? - Any other quirks I should know to make sure your dog and myself are safe?
A typical day
A typical fun and exciting day with the pets I watch would be to start off with making sure they are fed and watered if need be. Then, we take a nice long leisurely walk for relief (whatever time that may look like for your dog’s age, weight, etc.). We head back inside for water to stay hydrated and some nice cuddling time or even a nap if that is your pet’s vibe before we head out to an enclosed park or grassy area to have some quality play time. This may look like just sniffing around the area, romping around with other dogs, a game of fetch or tug of war, or running laps around the perimeter. Water will be brought on hand to keep hydrated and then head home for some downtime. Once back home we could take a stab at some simple training or some puzzles for enrichment. If the parents aren’t home by the evening I’ll feed them their dinner and make sure they have everything they need before I leave and lock up. Update pictures will be sent throughout the day if the parents so wish!

Pet care experience
I have always had an affinity for animals! You can leave your pet with me assured that they are getting the love, care, and attention they need because it is a true passion of mine. Raising and handling dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, even a squirrel I have truly seen it all. My experience of caring for animals of all different sizes, personalities, temperaments, and obedience levels I learned great patience and deep understanding of body language to get them the care they need. When under my watch, your pets will receive the same amount of love and respect I have towards my own. Their health and safety comes first always; then we work on how to keep them as happy and content as possible when they’re missing their parents.

Nikita also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
