Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Nicole, a veterinary student at Lincoln Memorial University with years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages, breeds, and medical needs. My passion for animal care goes far beyond walks and feeding — I truly understand what your pet needs to feel safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away. What sets me apart from other sitters is my clinical training and deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and emergency care. Whether your pet is a playful puppy who needs basic training reinforcement, a senior dog who needs a gentle routine, or a cat who just needs calm companionship, I can confidently tailor my care to fit their individual needs. I’ve worked in vet clinics, animal shelters, and even wildlife rehab, so I’m comfortable giving medications, recognizing signs of illness, and helping anxious pets feel at ease. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. Let’s set up a meet and greet — I’d love to get to know you and your furry family member!

Although I don’t have pets with me while attending veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University, caring for animals is still a core part of my daily life. I spend much of my time learning about animal health, behavior, and welfare — and I regularly work hands-on with animals during clinical labs and externships. Pet sitting through Rover gives me a way to stay connected to what I love most — spending time with animals! I intentionally build my class and study schedule to leave time for walks, check-ins, and overnight care. Since my coursework is focused on veterinary care, I treat every visit as both a meaningful break and an extension of what I’m training to do professionally: provide attentive, compassionate care to every animal I meet. Whether it’s a morning walk, an evening cuddle, or mid-day meds, I take your pet’s routine seriously and make sure it fits smoothly into mine.
