I have always wanted a dog but could not convince my parents, so I started pet sitting for neighbors, friends and family - including pet sitting in their home, our home, potty and walk breaks. I have been pet sitting since I was 12 years old and still get excited to help out! At the start of the COVID pandemic I began volunteering at a local animal shelter and would assist the vets with general care, administering medication, socialization, feeding and more. I am currently working full-time however it is a remote position and therefore am free several times during the work day for walks and potty breaks. I am also available in the evenings and weekends for play dates, and more extended help. I am very flexible and adaptable to scheduling conflicts (if they ever arise) and work really well with other people to find something that works for us both. I love animals and treat other people's pets as if they were my own. I respect their personalities and try my best to match their energy - if a dog likes their personal space I wont bombard them with cuddles, if they're curious I'll take them out for sniffing walks, if they're energetic, we can go for a run or play fetch at the park.
