Looking for poochies to look after!
Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my entire life but have now moved out of my family home and looking for some lovely poochies to care for to keep me company! As you can see there is a recurring little fur lady in my pictures. She is my niece Pam, an Isabella Dapple Miniature Daschund. She lives quite far from me and I miss her lots, so it would be nice to have some cuddles in the meantime from some other fluffy poochies!

I don’t have a garden as I live in a quarter house but make daily trips to Twigmoor Woods and other local walking spots and I’m very active - your dog will get at least two walks a day depending on energy levels. My house is secure and always locked, even when I am in. It is a very friendly and safe neighbourhood in Kirton.

Please let me know if there is anything specific I need to know about your furry friends in terms of eating habits, daily routine, etc. so I can give them everything they need! It is particularly helpful if you tell me your dog is reactive on walks. It just allows me to plan routes that avoid popular areas and avoids stressing out your pooch.
A typical day
Being in the countryside means lots of great walking routes! For more high-energy poochies Twigmoor and Broughton are great local woods to have a good run around! Or there is Ashby Ville for more chilled out poochies who just want to potter around and have a sniff on a shorter route. Dogs will not be taken off their lead on walks, regardless of how well behaved they are with owners, to protect both your dog and other dogs on walks with me. There are also some great dog friendly hotspots like Brigg Garden Centre and The Lodge so your pooch can come along with me as I potter around and purchase some plants (and dog treats!) For an additional fee there is a local dog field for energetic poochies who wish to be off the lead safely and enjoy some zoomies. The field charges £5 for half an hour and £10 for an hour. Please let me know at the time of booking if you would like to book a field, and for how many times during the stay.

Availability
I am a teacher and offer pet sitting during the school holidays, and on weekends during term time). I can do pretty much any day and time, just let me know what you need! I can offer pet sitting during term time weekdays but please be aware that I am out of the house from 8am until 4pm.
