I also ask about any medical conditions, allergies, or medications they may need, along with any behavioral quirks (like leash reactivity, fear of loud noises, or anxiety when left alone). I always want to respect your training style, so knowing your preferred commands, house rules (like furniture or crate use), and any ongoing training goals is super helpful. If they have any triggers—whether it’s other dogs, cats, strangers, or specific noises—I’d love to know so I can avoid them and keep things as calm and fun as possible. Lastly, I like to know what brings your pet joy! Whether it’s belly rubs, tug-of-war, a special treat, or just curling up on the couch, I want to make sure they feel like they’re right at home. The more I know, the better care I can give!

Every pet is unique, so I always try to tailor activities to match their personality, energy level, and preferences! For high-energy dogs, I love going on long walks, jogs, or playing a solid game of fetch at a local park. If your pup enjoys socializing, I’m happy to take them to dog-friendly spots (with your approval) to interact with other furry friends! For more chill pets, I’m all about cozy couch time, belly rubs, and interactive toys or puzzles that keep them mentally stimulated. I also enjoy teaching or reinforcing simple tricks and commands using positive reinforcement, treats and praise go a long way! Cats? I’ve got them covered too. I’ll play with their favorite toys (laser pointers, string, or crinkle balls), offer tons of affection (if they want it!), and make sure their routines are never disrupted.
